Miller took over as President and CEO of Stericycle in 1992, and has built the company into the largest medical waste disposal service in the United States. The company also has international branches in Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Miller began serving as the chairman of the Stericycle board of directors in 2008, and is one of the top shareholders (and beneficiaries) of Stericycle stock.
