Campaign to Stop Stericycle (CSS) visited the Chicago area on May 24th and 25th to inform Stericycle’s stockholders and area residents of the medical waste giant’s collection, transportation and incineration of aborted children. Volunteers from 9 states – New York, Pennsylvania, Iowa,  Illinois, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Texas, Florida and California – came to speak up for the value of human life and speak out against Stericycle’s service to the abortion industry, which is furthering the holocaust of the preborn in America.

INVESTORS FACE TRUTH AT THE ‘ANNUAL MEETING OF STOCKHOLDERS’

On May 24th, CSS set up outside of Stericycle’s “Annual Meeting of Stockholders” at the DoubleTree Hotel in Rosemont, Illinois. Volunteers distributed the campaign’s new brochure, Where Have All the Children Gone?, and displayed a banner that exposed Stericycle’s complicity in the abortion holocaust. Men, women and children also lined the streets surrounding the hotel as they held signs decrying the murder of the innocent preborn.

Additionally, three vehicles, including two truth trucks, encircled the vicinity with large photographs that depicted the reality of abortion. One truck, provided by Missionaries to the Preborn, prominently displayed one of CSS’s banners which read, “Stop Stericycle from its collaboration with the abortion industry. Steriycle collects, transports and incinerates aborted children.” The truck parked in front of the hotel at times, so that arriving stockholders could see the truth about Stericycle’s furtherance of the abortion holocaust. Ironically, later in the day as CSS traveled to its next location, a Stericycle truck merged onto the highway right behind the truth truck, forcing the driver and passenger to be confronted head-on with their company’s participation in the daily destruction of precious children.

CSS also distributed literature outside of the hotel room where the stockholders meeting was being held and engaged in discussion with several stockholders despite the fact that Stericycle had hired an undercover Chicago police officer to prevent the campaign from doing so. At one point, as Rusty Thomas of Elijah Ministries began to speak to the stockholders that were standing in the hall, the man — who would not reveal his identity up until this point — used a strong-armed tactic to wrongfully remove him. After the officer physically escorted Thomas away, he then confessed, “I’m a Chicago police officer and a Catholic. I’m conflicted.”

STERICYCLE PRESIDENT MARK C. MILLER’S BLOOD MONEY WEALTH

CSS then took to the streets of Stericycle President Mark C. Miller’s community, where they visited approximately 100 homes to engage in discussion with Miller’s neighbors and distribute brochures and letters door-to-door, which exhorted area residents to call upon Miller to stop his company’s service to the abortion industry. Volunteers also held signs along the road to bring exposure to the evils that Miller and his company help to facilitate.

As CSS visited area residents, one of the the neighbors — unbeknownst to the campaign — turned out to be Miller’s mother, who kindly received the brochure and the letter that urged Miller’s neighbors to take action, and stated that she would also give a copy to her son as well.

Upon arriving at Miller’s sprawling estate, it was grievous to consider the wealthy lifestyle that Stericycle’s president partakes in, knowing that a significant part of Stericycle’s income comes from the blood money of Planned Parenthood and hundreds of other abortion mills nationwide. CSS prayed for Miller and his family, asking that the Lord would move him to bring an end to his company’s collaboration with the abortion industry.

CSS has also discovered that Mark Miller owns another home in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, which he purchased for over 3 million dollars in 2002. Click here for photographs.

CSS SPEAKS TRUTH OUTSIDE OF STERICYCLE’S HEADQUARTERS

On May 25th, CSS visited Stericycle’s headquarters in Lake Forest, Illinois to again urge the billion-dollar company to cease its collaboration with the abortion industry. CSS called a number of employees to repentance as they entered the parking lot and building, and distributed literature to those that would receive it.

CSS was also approached by a prominent member of the community, who expressed gratitude that the campaign was standing against the medical waste giant’s collaboration with the abortion industry.
