Listen to Stericycle's shocking admissions:

PHILADELPHIA – In another victory for the Campaign to Stop Stericycle (CSS), two Idealease affiliates, Ward Idealease and McCandless Idealease, have informed the campaign that they have both stopped Stericycle from using their trucks to service the abortion industry.

Ward Idealease president Bill Ward recently explained to CSS that he first became aware of Stericycle’s collaboration with the abortion industry when supporters of CSS picketed outside of the Idealease Meeting of Affiliates in Chicago last September. He also stated that the informational letter that he received from the campaign weeks ago was instrumental in his decision to prohibit Stericycle from using his trucks to service abortionists. Unbeknownst to Ward, Stericycle had been utilizing his Idealease trucks to assist two abortion facilities: one in Florida and the other in Alabama. However, Stericycle is now not permitted to utilize the company’s trucks from any of its three locations in Mobile, Alabama, Pensacola, Florida and Tallahassee, Florida to facilitate the abortion holocaust in any way. In fact, when CSS spoke with Ward about Stericycle’s use of his trucks to collect abortion “waste,” he responded, “Not with our trucks!”

McCandless IdealeaseMcCandless Idealease in Colorado, which has locations in Aurora, Colorado Springs and Pueblo, also recently confirmed that Stericycle has stopped using its trucks at abortion facilities. Its president, Scott McCandless, is the 2012 Idealease Board of Directors Vice Chairman, and will serve as chairman for one year in 2013. Stericycle had been using a McCandless Idealease truck to service Planned Parenthood of Denver, the second largest abortion facility in the nation, but in a telephone conversation with CSS earlier this year, McCandless expressed that his contract with Stericycle was “winding down.” McCandless trucks are now no longer being seen at the mega Planned Parenthood facility.

Ward Idealease and McCandless Idealease follow in the footsteps of Penske Truck Leasing, Inc. and Ryder System, Inc., which have stopped Stericycle from using their trucks to service the abortion industry. Stericycle depends entirely on leased trucks to collect and transport biohazardous “waste” from abortion facilities, which perpetuates the holocaust of the preborn. Without the help of Stericycle and businesses like it, the abortion industry would collapse.

“We applaud Ward Idealease and McCandless Idealease for refusing to collaborate with Stericycle in the abortion holocaust,” campaign director Michael Marcavage stated. “Their moral and ethical integrity in this situation is honorable, and should be the norm, not the exception. We call upon Idealease affiliates nationwide to follow the lead of Ward and McCandless by immediately stopping Stericycle from using their trucks to transport the remains of aborted children and the tools used to kill them,” he concluded.

Since Idealease has hundreds of affiliate locations, CSS urges continued calls to the local Idealease offices to exhort them not to allow Stericycle to use their trucks to service the abortion industry. Voicemail and email messages should also be sent to Idealease corporate president Dan J. Murphy by calling (847) 304-3161 and/or writing to danjmurphy@idealease.com For additional ways to help make CSS a success, please click here.
